Yara Foods represent Sri Lankan coconut industry in Las Vegas

Yara foods participated in the 2019 SupplySide West Exhibition, the leading ingredients and supply-chain event for the health and nutrition industry, under the flag of Kandetiya Agro Products which is one of its subsidiaries.

The 2019 edition of SupplySide West was held October 17 & 18, 2019 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The trade show is the largest gathering of health & nutrition professionals bringing together more than 17,000 ingredient buyers and suppliers from throughout the industry.

The event is attracted by leading consumer level suppliers and USA food ingredient importers. An eighty percent of participants at SupplySide West event were USA companies representing dietary supplement (43%), food processing (18%), pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical (20%) and F&B (19%) industries. It comprised primary business ingredients (16%) and finish product manufacturer /marketer (45%) with ingredient suppliers (39%).

The exhibition offers the opportunity for Sri Lankan companies to promote a range of products from value added spices, flavors, nutraceutical products and coconut kernel and food ingredients. It was also proposed to arrange B2B meetings focusing on USA market to meet the leading USA buyers for the products.
